For the third-straight year Sun Devil Athletics will embark on a Caravan Tour to bring the SDA experience directly to the fans and allow Sun Devil Nation to connect one-on-one with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators. The 2016 Sun Devil Caravan kicks off in Las Vegas on May 10 and will visit a total of six locations in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California: Las Vegas (May 10), Wittmann, AZ (May 11), Maricopa (May 17), Tolleson (May 19), Anaheim, CA (May 24), Yuma, AZ (May 25).
Caravan stops will feature different SDA leaders such as Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson, football coach Todd Graham, men's basketball coach Bobby Hurley, women's basketball coach Charli Turner-Thorne, Sparky, the Spirit Squad, and a number of other Sun Devil student-athletes and coaches.
At each stop, the group will take over the local market for the day and conduct a Sparky's Tour, a pep-rally type assembly at an elementary school, participate in a community service project and hold a VIP Meet and Greet, a unique opportunity for alumni and donors to meet and interact with Sun Devil coaches, administrators, and student-athletes.
