TUCSON, Ariz. – The Sun Devil Athletics Caravan kicks off its tour down south for Sun Devil fans in Tucson, Ariz., with appearances from Ray Anderson, Vice President for University Athletics and Athletics Director and newly announced Sun Devil basketball head coach Bobby Hurley on Tuesday, April 28.
The tour starts with a private pep rally event, Sparky’s Tour, in Eloy followed by a service project at Gap Ministries where Sun Devil student-athletes and coaches will give back to the community.
The evening begins with the Sun Devil Meet and Greet at El Saguarito (1763 E. Prince Rd.) in Tucson where ASU fans down south have a chance to meet and interact with Sun Devil coaches, administrators, and former student-athletes from 4-5:30 p.m.
Following the meet and greet, join Sun Devil Athletics at Hi Corbett Field to watch Sun Devil baseball take on Arizona at 6 p.m. The baseball team has already clinched the Territorial Cup Series point in the sport, so join fellow ASU fans in gold to celebrate the team’s dominance.
The second-annual Sun Devil Caravan brings the Sun Devil Athletics experience directly to the fans and allows Sun Devil Nation to connect one-on-one with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators.
