The first 36 holes of the 67th Western Intercollegiate are in the books after Saturday's first two rounds, with Jon Rahm once again heading the way for Arizona State. Leading into Sunday's final round, Rahm lurks right outside the top ten tied for 12th-place for the 11th-placed Sun Devils.

Rahm started his day off well going on to shoot a first round of one-under par on the par-70 course. At the day's end, only six golfers remain under par. The second round became tougher for the freshman, however, as he shot a two-over par round of 72, which still left him in good shape heading into the final 18 holes. Rahm's highlight of the day came in his second round on the par-five ninth hole, as he sunk an eagle before making the turn to the back nine.

The Sun Devils as a team sit two strokes out of the top ten, barely trailing Pac-12 foe Oregon. Three Pac-12 schools--UCLA, California and Stanford--currently head the leaderboard thus far.

Austin Quick also swung the club well on Saturday and will start the final round tied for 31st-place where he concluded his two rounds. He shot a first round one-over par, and then like most golfers struggled in the second round, shooting a three-over par 74.

Tied for 65th is a pair of Sun Devils in Trey Kaahanui and Spencer Lawson, whom had identical scorecards on Saturday. They both shot two rounds of 75.

The freshman duo of Max Rottluff and Alberto Sanchez are tied for 71st and 78th respectively.

Sunday's final round will have a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. (PT), with live scoring available at golfstat.com.
