Arizona State Notes

• Sun Devils Vs. Cardinal: Arizona State is now 16-11 all-time against Stanford. ASU moved to 10-4 versus the Cardinal in Tempe and had previously won four straight at Sun Devil Stadium.

• Getting It Done With His Legs: Junior quarterback Steven Threet recorded his second career rushing touchdown on a four-yard plunge with just under eight minutes left in the first quarter. His first touchdown on the ground was at Washington Oct. 9.

• Semi-centennial Man: Junior wide receiver Gerell Robinson's 50th career reception came on a 30-yard pass from Threet near the eight-minute mark of the first quarter.

• All Good Things Must Come To An End: Stanford's one-yard touchdown run at the 9:45 mark in the first quarter ended ASU's six-game streak of scoring first.

• No Easy Yards: Stanford entered the game 9-for-11 on fourth-down conversions before the Sun Devils stopped them with less than 30 seconds left in the first quarter.

• All About The Benjamin's: Senior wide receiver Kerry Taylor reached 100 career receptions on an 8-yard strike to the endzone late in the third quarter, his seventh career touchdown catch.

• Stifling The Scoreboard ASU held Stanford to seven points in the first half and were tied with the Cardinal heading into intermission, only the second game this season Stanford has not led after the first two quarters. The Cardinal entered the game averaging 25.1 points per game in the first half.

• Three Up, Three Down: ASU has now forced 33 "three-and-outs" this year after recording three today.
