• Homecoming History: Arizona State improved to 60-18-3 all-time in Homecoming games, dating back to the 0-0 tie with the Phoenix Indians in 1926. ASU has won six of the last seven Homecoming games, including a 31-0 victory over Washington State in 2008.

• Sun Devils Vs. Cougars: Arizona State is now 23-12-1 all-time against Washington State. ASU has won seven straight against the Cougars, including three in a row at Sun Devil Stadium, in 37 meetings.

• And Then There Was One...: Defensive tackle Saia Falahola was the only senior starter for the Sun Devils on offense or defense.

• First To Strike: ASU scored first for the fifth straight game and the fifth time this season.

• Goose Eggs: ASU recorded its ninth shutout in Pac-10 games, dating back to 1978, and the 42-0 win is the third-largest shutout win in ASU's Pac-10 history. The last shutout for the Sun Devils was a 31-0 victory over Washington State on Nov. 15, 2008

• An Excellent Journey: ASU's first drive of the game was the longest touchdown of the year in both minutes and plays. The 15-play, 6:12-minute drive went 76-yards and ended in a seven-yard touchdown run by running back Cameron Marshall. The Sun Devils had a 19-play, 7:29-minute drive at Oregon State Oct. 2 that resulted in a Thomas Weber 25-yard field goal.

• Welcome To The Club: Redshirt sophomore safety Keelan Johnson and senior cornerback LeQuan Lewis both recorded their first career interceptions. Johnson's came with just under five minutes to play in the first quarter and Lewis' occurred near the eight-minute mark of the second quarter.

• A Rush Of Offense: With three touchdowns on the ground in the game, the Sun Devils now have 15 rushing touchdowns this season, topping last year's total of 14. Marshall found the endzone twice and Lewis scored once.

• Airing It Out: Junior quarterback Steven Threet connected for three passing touchdowns in the game, matching his career high.

• A Good Place To Be: Freshman running back/wide receiver Kyle Middlebrooks scored his first career touchdown on a 10-yard run in the fourth quarter.

• Forever Young: Either a freshman or sophomore scored all six ASU touchdowns.

• Back Where He Belongs: Offensive lineman Jon Hargis appeared in his first game of the season since tearing his ACL.

• Three Up, Three Down: ASU has now forced 30 "three-and-outs" this year after recording four today.

• Jack Of All Trades: Former ASU walk-on quarterback Gus Farwell sang the national anthem before the game.
