SEATTLE (AP) - Dymond Simon had 17 points and six assists to help Arizona State beat Washington 80-64 for its seventh consecutive Pac-10 win Saturday.
Sybil Dosty had 13 points, Briann January 12 and Danielle Orsillo 11 for Arizona State (15-6, 7-2). The Sun Devils have won 23 of their last 26 conference road games.
Sami Whitcomb had a career-high 29 points for Washington (5-14, 1-8), which suffered a program-record eighth straight loss. Whitcomb tied a career high with five 3-pointers.
Whitcomb scored 17 of 20 points for the Huskies during a six-minute stretch in the second half to help cut a 16-point deficit to 65-56 with 7:10 remaining. She made three 3-pointers during the run.
Kristi Kingma had 14 points for the Huskies, who closed to within eight points with 5:58 remaining. But the Sun Devils made 7-for-8 free throws the rest of the way to push the lead back to double figures.
The Huskies went scoreless during the final 3:39 after Whitcomb made her fifth 3-pointer.
Simon had 13 points to help give the Sun Devils a 39-29 halftime lead. Whitcomb had nine points for the Huskies in the first half.
The Sun Devils grabbed their first lead at 19-17 with 6:55 left in the first half. They never trailed again.
Arizona State extended its winning streak to nine games over the Huskies going back to 2004.
