The Arizona State women's gymnastics team scored a 194.025 in their loss to Oregon State on Friday. The Beavers tallied 196.275 to drop the Sun Devils to a 0-4, 0-3 record. Senior Nicole Harris placed third in the all-around despite being questionable for the meet due to a shoulder injury she suffered on floor last week. Harris scored a 39.275. Beaté Jones also competed in the all-around, compiling 39.075.

The Sun Devils began on bars. Harris, who is ranked 24th in the event, led the team with a 9.775 to tie for third. Jones scored a solid 9.750 while freshman Kahoku Palafox and sophomore Francesca Mercurio earned scores of 9.675. Kaitlynn Bormann was given a 9.575. The Sun Devils tallied a total of 48.450.

On vault, Jones led the way for the Devils. The sophomore hit for a 9.875 to tie for second. Harris placed fourth with a 9.850. Freshman Callie Price and sophomore Mary Atkinson tied for seventh with a 9.725. Price's score marked a career-best for her. Kelly Reilly was given a 9.575 in her effort. The Sun Devils scored 48.750 on vault.

Moving onto floor in the third rotation, the Sun Devils earned a 48.675. Tying her career-best, Tiana Jean led the Sun Devils and performed her way to a 9.875. Harris was the next highest scoring Sun Devil with a 9.775 while Stephanie Hangartner was given a 9.725. Jones scored a 9.675 in her effort while Mercurio recorded a 9.625.

Harris won beam in the final rotation. Harris, who is ranked eighth on beam, shined, scoring a 9.875. Jones, who has immensely improved on beam from last season, placed fifth with a 9.775 for the second straight week. Jean and Bormann each recorded scores of 9.750. The Sun Devils had to count a fall on their traditional best event for the second straight week as both Amber Hammerschmidt and Mercurio fell. The Sun Devils scored 48.150.

The team will head back to Wells Fargo Arena next week as they will host Cal for their fourth straigh
