PULLMAN, Wash. - Dymond Simon scored 14 points and Becca Tobin added a career-high 13 points as Arizona State won its sixth consecutive game, defeating Washington State 66-47 on Thursday night.

Arizona State (14-6, 6-2 Pac-10) shot 48 percent and forced 27 Washington State turnovers as the Sun Devils outscored the Cougars 36-24 in the second half to turn a seven-point halftime lead into a 19-point win.

Simon (12 points) and Tobin (nine points) combined for 21 of their 27 points in the second half as the Sun Devils shot 50 percent over the final 20 minutes while limiting Washington State to 33 percent. Overall, the two combined to shoot 12-of-16 from the field, including a 6-of-7 performance by Tobin.

After a 6-0 run by the Cougars cut Arizona State's lead to 37-31 with 13:50 remaining, the Sun Devils went on a 23-4 run over the next seven minutes to extend to a 25-point lead, 60-35. Tobin, who scored nine points during the run, began ASU's scoring outburst with a three-point-play.

Jazmine Perkins led Washington State (8-11, 1-7 Pac-10) with a game-high 15 points.

The Sun Devils jumped out to an 11-2 lead less than six minutes into the game and would eventually push their lead to 12 following a pair of free throws by Sybil Dosty with four minutes left in the first half. The Cougars would use a 7-2 in the final 90 seconds of the half to cut ASU's lead to 30-23 at the break and would get within five on a basket by Perkins 13 seconds into the second half.

Arizona State's current six-game winning streak is its longest since it won nine straight the second half of the 2006-07 season. Last season the Sun Devils won five straight on three different occasions.
