LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Lynn Pride had 28 points and eight rebounds as No. 20 Kansas beat Arizona State 81-65 on Sunday.
Brooks Reves added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Jayhawks (9-3). Jaclyn Johnson and Suzi Raymant each had 12, and Jennifer Jackson added 11.
Natalie Tucker led the Sun Devils (7-3) with 17 points, and Kitch Kitchen had 11 points and seven assists.
Kansas used a 19-6 run to take a 39-24 halftime lead, and never let Arizona State get closer than 10 points in the second half.
"We started right out playing with the intensity on defense and were getting into our offense," Kansas coach Marian Washington said. "We needed to establish the tempo we wanted to play at and that is what we did today."
