ABOUT JAHII
The son of Vanae and Jonathan Carson is rumored to have dunked a basketball at the age of 13 while being only 5-3. Hard to doubt that. Big-time hops and big-time energy and big-time point guard in a 5-10 frame. ASU's top in-state recruit in decades as he was a 2011 Parade Magazine Second-Team All-American and the Arizona Republic Big Schools Player of the Year. Racked up all the Arizona first-team honors from all over. Set New York City holiday tournament record with 36.3 points per game mark in three games in December of 2010.

WHILE AT MESA HIGH (2009-10 AND 2010-11)
Set Mesa High School single-season marks for points per game (32.2) and assists (6.6) after setting the records in junior year (23.7 ppg. and 5.6 assists)...team was 21-6 in senior season and advanced to Class 5A state semifinals...also averaged over two steals per game in senior season...led team to 25-5 mark in junior season.

HOW GOOD WAS HE IN STATE TOURNAMENT
How about these numbers for Jahii in the 2011 Class 5A state tournament? A 58-point effort in a semifinal loss to Phoenix Brophy Prep (including 25-of-38 from field)...a 37-point outing in first round win over Tucson...38 points, five assists, four boards and four steals in 72-66 quarterfinal win against Mountain Pointe.

OTHER STUFF
Played his sophomore season at Mountain Pointe High School...member of Compton Magic...played in 2010 Nike Global Challenge...played in Phoenix Fall Showcase and averaged 27 points, 12 assists and three steals...won the 2010 12th annual Arizona Preps Showcase Slam Dunk Contest and MVP honors at the 2009 Showcase.
