Baseball Bloodlines: Drew's father Andy played seven seasons in the Major Leagues for the New York Yankees, Houston Astros, Montreal Expos and Arizona Diamondbacks...Andy spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Arizona State (2007-2009), winning two Pac-10 titles and making the 2009 College World Series, and is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Grand Canyon University.

2013 (Sophomore):Started 55 games at shortstop...had four three-hit performances on the season, three of which came in Pac-12 play...four times had a two RBI game...notched 10 doubles and three triples throughout the season...hit his first career home run in the first game of the season against Bethune Cookman Feb. 15 and also scored a career three runs in the game...knocked in a game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning in a road win over Utah April 26...along with DiNatale, hit consecutive home runs in 7th inning against BYU May 21...earned Scholar Baller recognition in Fall 2012...stole two bases against UCLA (3/28).

2012 (Freshman): Appeared in 31 games and started 20, including 16 at third base, two at shortstop and one each at second base and DH...made his first collegiate start, and collected his first hit and RBI against Western Michigan Feb. 19 and ended the game with two hits and two RBI in three at-bats...went 2-for-4 with two RBI against Cal March 24...had three multi-hit games.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Gilbert High School...played baseball, basketball and football at GHS...was team captain in both football and baseball as a senior...was three times selected to the All-Region team...teamed with current Sun Devil teammate Nathaniel Causey at Gilbert.

MLB Draft: Was a 40th round pick (1,218th overall) of the Colorado Rockies in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.

Personal: Majoring in communications...son of Andy and Mari Ana...has one brother (Dane) and two sisters (Marisa and Mia)...would like to attend a Super Bowl...says Derek Jeter and Jimmy Rollins are his favorite athletes...born June 18, 1993...full name is Drew Alan Stankiewicz.
