Arizona State Volleyball Signs Local Standout
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Moon Valley High School (Glendale, Ariz.) standout Jami Coughlin has signed a letter of intent to compete and study at Arizona State University announced volleyball head coach Patti Snyder-Park this afternoon.
"We are thrilled with Jami's announcement," Snyder-Park said. "She is one of the best recruits ever to attend ASU. She is a great physical talent and a good student-athlete as well. She will make an immediate impact on the program with her complete all-around game."
Coughlin, a 6-0 outside hitter, was a two-time first-team all-state selection as well as a four-time first-time all-region pick. She was twice named a Volleyball Magazine All-American. She is an exceptional student as well with a 4.0 GPA.
Coughlin has played club volleyball with the Arizona Juniors for two years.
