Women's Tennis to Face Clemson in NCAA First Round Competition

ATHENS, Ga.--The Arizona State women's tennis team (11-9) heads to Athens, Ga. to take on the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships, hosted by Georgia, May 11-12, at the Dan Magil Tennis Center.


The Sun Devils will face a Clemson team that finished up the regular season with a 15-9 record at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, May 11, with the winner of the match facing the winner of Georgia and the College of Charleston on Saturday, May 12 at 3 p.m. ET.

The Sun Devils are making their 25th-straight NCAA appearance under head coach Sheila McInerney, the longest streak in school history.


For the matches, Georgia will provide live scoring and live video. The Bulldogs will also host the final three rounds of the NCAA Championships as well as the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
