's women's swimming team began the 2007 Pacific-10 Conference Championships in Wednesday, started the four-day event with competition in the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays, highlighted by a new ASU record time in the 200 medley relay. .
Overall, the Sun Devils scored 54 points, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay.
ASU's top 800 freestyle relay was unfortunately disqualified from action as the first day of Pac-10 Championship action came to a close.
The 2007 Pac-10 Championships will continue Thursday with the preliminary and final rounds of the 500 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 free style and 200 freestyle relay.
