Sun Devils Lose to New Mexico, 3-1
TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona State soccer team (6-2-0, 1-0-0 Pac-10) snapped its three-game winning streak in a 3-1 loss to New Mexico (8-1-0, 0-0-0 WAC) at Sun Devil Soccer Field Sunday.
ASU's only goal was scored by sophomore midfielder Kerrie Kulak in the 41st minute. The assist went to Jaclyn Clark who crossed the ball to the left corner. This was Kulak's first goal of the season.
ASU goalkeeper Erin Reinke had five saves while New Mexico's goalie stopped seven shots.
The Sun Devils had 12 shots compared to the Lobos' 20.
Sunday's game will be shown on FOX Sports Arizona Tuesday, September 30, at 11 a.m. with a replay on Friday, October 3, at 3 p.m.
The Sun Devils continue their six-game homestand Friday, October 3, at 7 p.m. when they face Loyola Marymount.
