Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship Up Next for ASU

The Arizona State women's golf team, ranked No. 1 in the preseason MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings, travels to the Inaugural Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate Championship, hosted by the University of Tennessee, Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28 at the Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club. The course is a par 72 (5,861 yards). Arizona State will tee off between 9:50-10:22 a.m. from the No. 1 tee on Friday. The tournament field includes Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Furman, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Memphis, North Carolina, San Jose State, South Carolina, Swedish National Team, Tennessee, Tulsa and Wake Forest.
ROLEX FALL PREVIEW WRAP UP: Freshman phenom Grace Park, competing in her first collegiate tournament, won individual medalist honors shooting a six-under 210 for the tourney. Park tied a course record with a three-under par 69 on the final day of competition. As a team, the Sun Devils finished second, only three strokes off the pace, shooting a three-day total of 891. Arizona won the event with a 889. Senior Kellee Booth tied for ninth carding a six-over par 222. Junior Keri Cornelius tied for 21st (228), junior Tui Selvaratnam tied for 36th (231) and senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil tied for 56th (239).
TEEING UP FOR THE DEVILS: Assistant coach Ashley Adleta has announced the following golfers will travel for the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship: Kellee Booth, Grace Park, Jeanne-Marie Busuttil, Keri Cornelius and Jody Niemann.
