ASU's Grace Park Win Medalist Honors

As Team Finishes Second at Rolex Fall Preview

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona, which held a five stroke lead after the second round, survived a final round charge by Arizona State to hold on and defend its team title at the Rolex Fall Preview at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin. The 'Cats shot an 11-over par 299 on Sunday, bringing their tournament total to 25-over par 889, winning by two strokes. Arizona State shot an eight-over par 296 on Sunday to bring its three-day total to 27-over par 891. Tulsa (895), Furman (902) and Wake Forest (907) rounded out the top five.

Medalist Grace Park, a freshman from Arizona State, set a Rolex Fall Preview record with her six-under par 210 while playing in her first collegiate tournament. Park tied a course record with a three-under par 69 on Sunday.

Senior Kellee Booth tied for ninth with a 54-hole total of 222 after shooting a two-over par 74 on Sunday. Junior Keri Cornelius tied for 21st with a three-day total of 228 after shooting a five-over par 77 on Sunday. Junior Tui Selvaratnam (231) tied for 36th and senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil (239) tied for 56th.
