ASU Moves into Second After Two Rounds of Stanford Intercollegiate

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- The Arizona State Sun Devils shot an five-under par 287 in the second round of the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, California to move into second place, nine strokes behind second-round leader Stanford, who shot a 10-under par 282 this afternoon. Rounding out the rest of the top five are Louisiana State (591), Arizona (594), and Oregon (595).
Leading the Devils individually are junior Keri Cornelius (73-72--145) and freshman Grace Park (73-72--145) who both shot a one-under par 72 this afternoon to pace the team. Both golfers are tied for fourth individually. Senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil is tied for 25th (79-71--150) after shooting a two-under-par 71 today. Senior Kellee Booth is currently tied for 38th (80-72--152) with junior Jody Niemann (75-77--152). Junior Tui Selvaratnam, competing as an individual, shot a one-under 72 this afternoon and is tied for 8th (75-72--147).
The Stanford Intercollegiate wraps up tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. from the first and 10th tees at the Stanford Golf Course.
