Sun Devils Finish Second at Stanford Intercollegiate

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona State Sun Devils shot a one-under par 291 on the final day of the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, California to finish in second place (300-287-291--878), 13 strokes behind the winner Stanford, who shot a five-under par 287 to finish with a three-day total of 865. Rounding out the rest of the top five are Arizona (886), Oregon (892), and Louisiana State (893).
Freshman Grace Park shot a two-under 71 on the final day to finish third individually (73-72-71--216). Junior Keri Cornelius tied for 11th shooting rounds of 73-72-76--221. Senior Kellee Booth tied for 18th (80-72-71--223) after shooting a two-under-par 71 today. Junior Jody Niemann finished in a tie for 28th (75-77-73--225) while senior Jeanne-Marie Busuttil tied for 33rd (79-71-76---226). Junior Tui Selvaratnam, competing as an individual, shot a par 73 this afternoon and tied for 9th (75-72-73--220).
The Sun Devils are next in action at the Golf World/Palmetto Dunes Intercollegiate, November 14-16, in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
