Information and FAQ
- Why Get Involved?
Almost everyone has been impacted by breast cancer, or any cancer for that matter, in one way or another. It is important to support those affected by breast cancer and promote awareness. Additionally, in the world of college women's sports, there are several coaches currently fighting this vicious disease. Women's coaches share not only a profession, but a community, and it is important to pull together and support such causes as this. - How can I purchase tickets to Pink-Out Games?

If you can't make the game but still want to support the cause, you can always donate money to any of the various breast cancer organizations. For your convenience, we have included the links to both national and local resources for breast cancer awareness on this webpage. - What is the Women's Basketball Pink-Zone?
An initiative dedicated to raise breast cancer awareness at a women's basketball game, on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. Started in 2007, more than 120 schools unified for this effort and helped make the inaugural year a success. In 2008, over 1,200 teams and organizations participated, reaching over 830,000 fans and raising over $930,000 for breast cancer awareness and research. The 2009 campaign raised over $1.3 million, reached over 912,000 fans, unified more than 1,600 participating teams and organizations, and saw 56+ schools break attendance records at their event. ASU Women's Basketball has made a commitment to the community to spread awareness about this vicious disease by inviting the campus of Arizona State University, as well as the surrounding community, to attend a women's basketball game at a reduced admission price. - Do other schools have pink-out games?
The WBCA, a governing body of intercollegiate women's basketball, inaugurated a "Pink Zone", formerly known as "Think Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Week which takes place February 12-21, 2010.
