ASU Swim Coach Named to SIU Hall of Fame

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona State University Women's Swimming head coach Tim Hill has been inducted into the Southern Illinois University Sports Hall of Fame, Seymour Bryson, Director of the SIU Hall Fame announced recently.

Hill coached the women's swim teams at SIU from 1981-85, amassing four national top-ten finishes, three Gateway Conference titles and three National Independent Championship titles. The Salukis recorded a 32-8 dual meet record under Hill. In addition to the team honors Hill achieved, he also coached 46 All-Americans and the school's first two national champions.

Hill has coached the past 12 years at Arizona State, gathering a dual record of 76-39-1. Hill's tenure in Tempe has produced 86 All-Americans and 28 academic All-Americans. Hill's career at ASU has been highlighted by four top-10 national finishes, as well as a second-place Pac-10 finish in 1994.
