Sun Devils Upset Florida & UCLA

TEMPE, Ariz. - The 23rd-ranked Arizona State (4-0) women's swimming team defeated 13th-ranked Florida 182-117 and 14th-ranked UCLA 180.5-116.5 in a double-dual this afternoon at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center. In other action, Florida nipped UCLA 150-149.

Amanda Clegg highlighted the day for the Sun Devils, posting a 2:00.15 in the 200 fly, qualifying her for the NCAAs. Lauren Morelli picked up two victories for ASU, winning the 100 back (56.15) and 200 back (2:00.05). Casey Murphy also picked up two event victories, winning the 200 free (1:49.61) and 500 free (4:50.09). Other event winners for ASU were Carolyn Adel (1000 free), Sarah Adams (50 free) and Tiffany Houser (100 fly).

The women's and men's swim teams will be in action tomorrow at 11 a.m., where they will host USC in a double dual at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
