TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State swimming and diving team returns to the pool this weekend to host USC, UCLA and Air Force, Nov. 8-9, at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center in Tempe, Ariz.
On Friday, the Sun Devils host the Trojans in a traditional dual meet against the conference foe starting at 2 p.m. MT. While the swimming should be competitive, the match-up between diving team will showcase some of the best athletes in the nation.
Senior Olympian Riley McCormick is full strength this season after enduring a nagging thumb injury for most of last year.
On the women’s side, the duo of junior Hailey Casper and sophomore Morgan Weller give Arizona State a one, two punch on the springboard events. Casper is the reigning NCAA runner-up on the 3-meter springboard and Weller won the Pac-12 Championship on the 1-meter event.
On Saturday, the women (2-1) will face UCLA in the pool, while the men (0-3) will face Air Force with a starting time of Noon MT.
