2012-13 MBB Season Ticket Pricing Map 
TEMPE, Ariz.-- Sun Devil Athletics has announced the sale of season tickets, as well as a renewal period for current season ticket holders, for the upcoming 2012-13 Arizona State University basketball season.
Sun Devil Athletics has frozen season ticket prices for current men's basketball season ticket holders. Season ticket prices will not increase for the 2012-13 season for those that renew by the deadline. Current Sun Devil season ticket holders have until Friday, June 22, to renew season tickets to receive their loyalty discount and to retain their current seat location. Payment plans are available for all season ticket holders.
Season tickets have remained the same price for the past five seasons and with 19 home games to be scheduled, the lowest-priced season ticket of $99 (set in 2008-09) also remains the same. The prices have been consistent since the 2008-09 season, when the average season ticket price was $944, while the average cost this year will be $913, a drop of $31 per ticket. Price ranges are the same as well, from the $99 ticket to the $2,850 ticket.
ASU returns eight players from last year who practiced last season, including four starters, two transfers who are proven Division I players and arguably the best in-state signee by Arizona State in Jahii Carson since it joined the Pac-10 in 1978-79. The Sun Devils will have six local prep players on the 2012-13 roster.
The Sun Devils will have 19 home games this year, tied for the most in Herb Sendek's seven-year tenure. DePaul will visit Tempe on Dec. 12, and it will mark the first Big East team to visit Wells Fargo Arena since Villanova on Dec. 29, 1993. The complete schedule will be determined later in the summer, including the Pac-12 portion, as the Pac-12 Network debuts.
"Our coaching staff and team has spent the offseason out in the community connecting with our fans," says Steve Patterson, Arizona State Vice President for Sun Devil Athletics. "We have loyal fans who deserve a good product, so we are going to reward our season ticket holders by freezing prices. I look forward to the continued improvement of several of our returning players who showed solid promise in the second half of last season, and we are all excited to see Jahii Carson, Evan Gordon and Bo Barnes in uniform after a year of practice."
Included among the starters is senior and Goodyear, Ariz., native Carrick Felix (B.S., Communication, 2012) who will play the 2012-13 season as a graduate student as he has been accepted into the Masters of Liberal Studies. Carrick averaged 10.5 points per game this past year and had his career-high 23 points in the March 4 87-80 win over Arizona.
Coach Sendek, the 2009-10 Pac-10 Coach of the Year who also earned the same honor in the ACC (2003-04) and the MAC (1994-95), enters his 20th year as a head coach in 2012-13 and has averaged just under 19 wins per season. He led the Sun Devils to three straight 20-win seasons from 2008-10, the first time that has happened at Arizona State since 1961-63, and is just the second Sun Devil men's basketball coach to earn Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
Season ticket holders receive benefits as part of their season ticket package, including an exclusive season ticket holder gift, sitting in the same seat for all home games, the ability to purchase additional tickets before the general public at discount (limit to number of tickets in account), the ability to purchase season parking, access to exclusive season ticket holder events and behind-the-scenes tours, and priority on postseason game and away game tickets, including the Pac-12 Tournament held this year at the MGM in Las Vegas. Some season tickets have a Sun Devil Club contribution, which goes to support student-athletes and also provides a competitive advantage for Sun Devil Athletics. This portion is tax-deductible and includes membership in the Sun Devil Club.
The sale of men's basketball tickets helps fund all 21 varsity men's and women's athletic programs and more than 500 student-athletes at Arizona State. The contribution pays for scholarships, books, mentors, tutors, room and board, medical care, insurance and more.
In an effort to build longstanding relationships with its fans, ASU hired 30 new full-time personal ticket service consultants in early 2012 and created the Sun Devil Athletics VIP season ticket holder service line to assist season ticket holders with any questions or concerns and give personal attention to their needs.

--Sophomore Jonathan Gilling's improvement after the first semester and his play in Pac-12 season was evident in a simple note: He averaged nine MINUTES per game in his first nine games and nine POINTS per game in his final 22. He also posted a career high in points with 21 vs. Arizona on March 4 and his 53 three-pointers last year is fourth-most by a freshman in Sun Devil history. Along with Gilling, another big improvement that was easily noticed in the second half of season was 7-2 sophomore post player Jordan Bachynski, who became a double-digit scorer in the final 13 games of the year and shot nearly 65 percent in those games after averaging 2.8 points and shooting just 46 percent in the first 13. He was the third-best shot-blocker during Pac--12 play last year at 1.67 per game.
--Chris Colvin transferred from junior college and also improved in many ways over the last half of season. He averaged more than 31 minutes in the final 15 games and averaged 8.7 points and five assists in that time.
--Incoming local standout Jahii Carson (Mesa, Ariz.) will take the floor for the maroon and gold after practicing last year, and in his last high school game, he scored 58 points in the Arizona high school playoffs. Not a bad way to finish a year where he averaged 32.2 points per game. He was a unanimous top-50 recruit and the highest rated in-state player to sign with ASU since Fat Lever back when ASU joined the Pac-10.
--Two transfers who practiced last year and are already proven at the Division I level are Evan Gordon and local product Bo Barnes. Gordon, the younger brother of NBA player Eric Gordon, led the Liberty Flames in scoring with 14.4 points per game (eighth in the Big South) in his sophomore year (2010-11). He also paced the team in free throw percentage (.762) and three-point field goal percentage (.337). The Indianapolis, Ind., native was named to the 2010 Big South All-Freshman team. Barnes, who played high school at Scottsdale Christian, set the Hawaii school record for three-pointers made by a freshman with 57 in 2010-11.
--Three Arizona prep products signed in the fall of 2011 and are expected to join the team this summer. Calaen Robinson, a 6-2 guard, helped Corona del Sol High School in Tempe notch a school-record 32 wins (32-1) en route to a state title. Raymond S. Kellis High School (Glendale) product Kenny Martin is known for defense and hustle, but also averaged 15.9 points, 9.7 boards and 4.7 blocks. 6-10 Eric Jacobsen of Hamilton High School has the look of a solid Pac-12 man after averaging 15.9 points, 11.7 boards and 2.3 blocks in his senior season. Martin and Robinson were named All-Arizona by the Arizona Republic, while Jacobsen earned first-team Division honors from the Republic as well.
