Black Student-Athlete Association (BSAA)
The BSAA exists as a safe space for black and African American student athletes and allies to build community and fight for change. Our goal is to empower students to advocate for themselves and the well-being of our community through education, engagement, and connection by giving them a platform to speak.

EmpowHER
EmpowHER, Powered by Sprouts Farmers Market, was established to foster an environment for female student-athletes and to communicate with their peers across all Sun Devil Athletics sports programs, discuss topics that address their everyday life, and to empower women to find strength in fellowship and character development that will stick with them for life beyond their athletic careers. A major component of the program features discussions around nutritional tools as well as mindfulness and mental health for student-athletes. EmpowHER activates a student-athlete’s voice through education, leadership development, community and campus engagement.

Morgan’s Message at ASU
The mission of Morgan’s Message is to amplify stories, resources and expertise to strengthen student-athlete mental health, build a community by and for athletes through peer-to-peer conversations and provide a platform for advocacy.

Peer Health Educators
As a Peer Health Educator you have the opportunity to connect with professional staff within the Live Well Network and provide a needed student-athlete voice to issues your peers are experiencing. Additionally, student-athletes have the opportunity to apply and compete for a couple of student employment positions through Sun Fitness and Wellness, Health Promotion and Prevention to work as a Wellness Supervisor who functions in a peer to peer capacity educating other students on healthy habits to enhance athletic, academic and social aspects of the college experience.
