Megan rounds out the Sun Devil pitching corps this season after an amazing career at Benson High School in Benson,Ariz. where she was a four-year letterwinner as well as captaining her team her junior and senior seasons. Some of her accolades include 1A-3A Player of the Year in 2006 & 2008, Conference MVP 2005-08 and Benson High MVP 2005-08 as well as helping to lead the Benson Bobcats to two 2A Arizon State Championships in 2006 and 2008. Her stats throughout her hgh school career are phenomenal with a career ERA of .49 and 1,139 career strikeouts with a season ERA of .18 in 2008. No slouch in the classroom as well, Ellsworth was valedictorian of her graduating class of 2008 as well as being a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and National Honors Society.

Sylvia Sander of Benson, Ariz. She has two brothers Mathew Ellsworth (21) and Esekiel Rutherford (8) and two sisters Anja
Scharber (23) and Kelly Montoya (15). Her full name is Megan Christine Ellsworth.
