Ybarra turned into one of the top young hitters in the conference under Bordes after he hit .313 as a freshman, which ranks among the top mark for a first-year player in school history, and knocked in a team-high 47 RBI in 2014.
Causey was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 19th round (563rd overall) of the 2014 Draft and Rossiter was taken by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 15th round (449th overall) of the 2013 Draft.
The Sun Devils went a combined 70-46-1 in his two years on the coaching staff, including a third-place finish in the Pac-12 in 2014, and advanced to the NCAA postseason in both seasons. ASU led the conference in slugging percentage, hits and total bases with Bordes on the staff.
Bordes played in 72 games from 2005-08, including 44 in his junior season in 2008. He started 21 games that season and batted .304 with 21 RBI en route to being named to the All-Tempe Regional team. He started all three games at shortstop that series and collected five RBI and scored three runs.
Bordes appeared in 16 games, making one start, in 2007, and redshirted in 2006. He played in 12 games and made two starts as a freshman in 2005.
