Brandon Spahn joined Sun Devil Athletics as Art Director in September 2021 after one year as the Senior Graphic Designer at the NBA's Phoenix Suns.
At Sun Devil Athletics, Spahn creates the brand campaign each season for all athletics advertising, ticketing, social media, game graphics, and email marketing. Through his design, he built and grew the Arizona State athletics brand through impactful art direction. He leads a team of student designers while helping them grow. He also taught graphic designer principles to undergraduate students at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications.
While with the Suns, Spahn created content or a variety of platforms including print, social media, global partnerships, marketing, and in-arena motion graphics. He built long-term branding concepts and quick scale-able content that multiple Suns departments could utilize on a daily basis.
Spahn started his collegiate design career at Indiana University, spending five seasons with the Hoosiers. He has an IU Bachelor of Science in informatics with a minor in graphic design in 2015.
