Taylor Evans

TitleDirector of Operations
Evans was hired as Director of Operations for the XCTF program in January 2021. She’s responsible for administrative work including organizing the program’s travel and competition accommodations, and she oversees home meet management at Sun Angel Stadium.    Evans was a former student-athlete under Director of Track and Field Dion Miller while he was coaching at Texas Tech from 2010-2012.  Evans was a nine-time All-American with the Red Raiders, specializing in the 4x1 and 4x4 relays, 400m, and, later in her career, the 100m and 200m. She ran in five NCAA Championships at TTU.    Evans has an extensive professional management resumé. Her most recent position prior to coming to ASU was at Iwele Global Management where she worked as a sports manager and publicist for over two years. Other notable stops include a multi-year position with Altis in Phoenix, Arizona, an office management position for the Phoenix Elementary School District, and a volunteer coaching position at Clemson and Texas Tech University.    The Phoenix native earned her bachelor’s in exercise sports and science and sports management from TTU in 2012 before earning her master’s degree in sports law and business from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State in 2016. She added another master’s degree in law in 2021 from the University of Arizona.    Taylor Evans is a mother to Zolani-Parker D. Jobodwana born in March 2018. Taylor is also the daughter of ASU alumnus Dwayne Evans who specialized in the 200m dash. Dwayne won the bronze medal at the 1976 Olympics before coming to Arizona State and claiming the 1981 NCAA 200m crown.
