Melanie Aptaker joined Arizona State University in August 2022 as a compliance coordinator. In this role, Aptaker assists with educational, interpretive, and monitoring efforts across all NCAA Operational Bylaws. Before ASU, Aptaker interned for the NCAA Office of the Committee on Infractions, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and the Ivy League Conference Office. Aptaker obtained her juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School in 2022 as well as a certificate from the National Sports Law Institute. Before MULS, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she was also a women’s bowling student-athlete and a four-time Academic All-NTCA recipient.
