Kaity Carter

TitleAssistant Athletic Trainer (Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country)
Kaity Carter, a native of Scottsdale, AZ, joined the sports medicine staff in August of 2022. Prior to arriving in Tempe, she worked the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross-Country teams at Texas A&M University from 2019-2022. She also served as an athletic trainer from the University of Texas at San Antonio Football, Softball, and Golf programs in 2018 and 2019. Kaity earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis on human performance from California Lutheran University in 2016. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University in 2019. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer in Arizona. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Corrective Exercise Specialist and holds certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level 1, Fat Tool, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper, and Owen’s Recovery Personalized Blood Flow Restriction. Through the FIT Institute, she is certified in Myo-Matrix Release and Functional Dry Needling for Pain Management. Kaity is a professional member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association, Arizona Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Brookbrush Institute. When she is not serving the Sun Devil Track & Field programs, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends being outdoors, going to the beach and being active.
