Jess Battilochi

Feature Story: Sun Devil Wrestling Athletic Trainer Wants to Help Inspire Jess Battilochi joined the Sports Medicine staff in November of 2020 and serves as the athletic trainer for the Sun Devil Wrestling program. Prior to becoming a Sun Devil, Jess spent the last three years at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV. She has worked with USA Wrestling with various age levels including trips to China, Panama, and Sweden for training camps and competitions. She also has previous experience at St. Clairsville HS in St. Clairsville, OH, Edison HS in Richmond, OH, and Trinity Sports Medicine in Steubenville, OH.    A native of Dillonvale, OH, Jess earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2013. She then completed her Master of Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2014.   She is a certified a licensed athletic trainer and a professional member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.   When she is no working with the wrestling program, Jess loves to spend time hiking with her Corgi, Kilo. She enjoys working out, reading, and napping whenever she can. She is also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
