- Finished the season going 7-6 with five major decisions
- Went 3-1 at the Keystone Classic that featured two major decisions and a decision.
- Fell in a hard fought match against #4 Rocky Elam of Missouri by decision, 8-2.
- Granted a medical hardship waiver by the NCAA and so will return for one last season in 2022-23.
2021-2022 (Redshirt Junior)
- NCAA Qualifier at 197 lbs.
- Went 16-5 during the season, with eight major decisions and three tech falls. In duals, went 8-3.
- Swept the competition at App State's Mountaineer Invitational, claiming bonus points in three of his four matches.
- Norfleet claimed his fourth Pac-12 title with a 14-6 victory over Ryan Reyes (OSU) in the 2022 Pac-12 Championships.
- Entered the NCAA Championships as the 16 seed earned two wins in the consolation bracket before being eliminated.

- Claimed his third title at 197 lbs. at the Pac-12 Championships on Feb. 28
- Norfleet went undefeated in the regular season (7-0) and 4-2 in the postseason
- Lead the team in tech falls (3) and pins (2) along with three bonus point victories
- Earned the No. 3 seed in 197 lbs. at NCAA Championships
- Ranked No. 8 in FloWrestling presason poll at 197 lbs.
- Ranked No. 6 in InterMat presason poll at 197 lbs.
- Ranked No. 6 in TheOpenMat presason poll at 197 lbs.
- Ranked No. 5 in Trackwrestling presason poll at 197 lbs.
- Norfleet beat Jonthan Aiello to place fifth at the U23 Nationals in Omaha (Nov. 14-15) with an overall record of 4-2 in the 92 kg Men's Freestyle
- NWCA Second Team All-American
- Won the title at 197 lbs. at the Pac-12 Championships on Mar. 7, marking his second conference title in three seasons
- Became the 14th Sun Devil all-time and fourth consecutive ASU wrestler to be named Outstanding Wrestler at the Pac-12 Championships, sharing the honor with Stanford's Shane Griffith
- Selected as a nine seed at 197 lbs. for the NCAA Championships
- Topped Penn State’s #3 ranked Kyle Conel, 10-4 to help lift ASU past the #1 team in the nation and become the first team to beat the Nittany Lions since 2015
- Secured four top-15 wins throughout his redshirt sophomore season - #3 Kyle Conel, #6 Nathan Traxler (twice) and #12 Tom Lane
- Finished the regular season 12-3, losing by a combined total of six points in three losses - two of the three losses came to #1 Kollin Moore.
- After starting the season unranked, Norfleet climbed all the way up to #9 in multiple ranking outlets at 197 lbs., including the NCAA Division I coaches panel
- Medical redshirt season
- Won the 184 lbs title at NDSU's Bison Open on Nov. 10
- Finished 2nd at 184 lbs at SIUE's Cougar Clash on Dec. 2
- Won Pac-12 Championship at 184 lbs, qualifying for NCAA's
- One of 16 true freshmen to qualify for NCAA's
- Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year, just the 3rd Sun Devil to earn the honor (second straight after Zahid Valencia won it in 2017)
- Named Wrestling Newcomer of the Year at annual team banquet
- Finalist at Junior World Team Trials in Rochester, Minn. in May 2018
- Won a gold medal at the Junior Pan-Am’s in Brazil in August 2018
- Earned back-to-back state titles in 2016 and 2017, at 170 lbs. and 182 lbs., respectively (The feat proved even more impressive as he not only moved up weight classes, his school moved from 2A to 3A between seasons)
- In 2017, he finished an undefeated senior season (43-0) with a 13-3 major decision over previously unbeaten Jack Jessen (Willowbrook)
- Outside the state championships, Norfleet also earned titles at multiple other tournaments including the 2016 Grappler Fall Classic, 2016 Minnesota Christmas Tournament, and 2015 Trackwrestling Preseason Championships
- Between his junior and senior seasons, Norfleet earned a 77-1 record
- Ranked No. 7 overall at 182 lbs. coming out of high school and has dreams of both winning national championships at Arizona State and becoming an Olympian after college
