- Finished 23rd in the 200 free at the Pac-12 Championships (2/28-3/2), and also competed in the 50 free and 100 free
- Placed third in the 400 free relay and competed in the 50 free at Arizona (2/10)
- Swam the 50 free, 200 free and 200 free relay at No. 9 California (1/20)
- Competed in the 50 free, 100 free and 400 free relay at No. 10 Stanford (1/19)

- In the team's tri-meet against Georgia and Missouri (10/1), she competed in the 100 free and 200 free
- Competed in the season opener at Georgia (9/30), in which she raced in the 200 free relay and the 3x200 IM relay
- Competed at her first Pac-12 Championships, in which she raced in the 50, 100 and 200 free (2/23-2/26)
- Placed eighth in the 800 free relay, ninth in the 400 free relay and 11th in the 200 free while also competing in the 200 free relay and the 500 free at the NC State Invite
- Placed fourth in the 500 free and 400 free relay, fifth in the 200 medley relay and also competed in the 50 and 200 free on 11/6 against USC
- Made her Sun Devil debut on 11/5 against UCLA, in which she finished second in the 800 free relay and third in the 100 and 200 free

Holds two Norwegian relay records, at the 2016 European Championships Lovberg anchored Norway’s mixed 4x100 free relay finishing 7th, splitting 55.43. In 2017 at the 2017 European SC Championships, she split a 24.81 in SCM on the third leg of Norway’s 4x50 free relay
