CAREER NOTES
  • Four-year starter (started 66 of 69 games over the last four seasons), who is returning for a fifth season.
  • Along with fellow fifth-year starter Alexia Delgado, will provide ASU’s midfield with combination of veteran experience and top-notch talent.
  • In 2021, set the program’s single-season assists record with 10 and with 20 career assists (third place) will enter the 2022 campaign needing six assists to become ASU’s all-time leader: Manya Makoski (second place/22 assists/2002-05), ASU Hall of Famer Stacey Tullock (first place/25 assists/1998-2001).
  • Has had a single-game, career-high four assists four times.
  • Earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in December 2021 and is currently pursuing master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

2021 (SENIOR)
  • Started all 18 games she played in and set the single-season school record for assists (10) to go with three goals.
  • Finished first in the Pac-12 and No. 19 in the nation in assists per game (0.56).
  • Started the season with a goal and an assist in ASU’s win over Central Arkansas (Aug. 19).
  • Tied her single-game career high in assists (two) twice in ASU’s wins at UAB (Aug. 29) and vs. Utah (Oct. 31). 
  • Also scored goals vs. LSU (Sept. 5) and vs. UCLA (Oct. 3). 
  • Was named to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team.
2020 (JUNIOR, Played in Spring 2021)
  • Made an appearance in all of ASU's 17 matches, starting in 16 of them and totaling 1498 minutes
  • Scored her first goal of the season against New Mexico State on Feb. 7
  • Finished the season with two goals and two assists
  • Fired 22 shots and nine on target 
2019 (SOPHOMORE)
  • Scored three goals, while dishing out six assists in non-conference play.
  • Tied her single-game career high in points (4) twice with a goal and two assists in wins vs. Central Arkansas (Aug. 25) and vs. UC Irvine (Sept. 6).
  • Made a start in eight of the nine non-conference games.
2018 (FRESHMAN) 
  • An integral piece to the potent Sun Devil midfield, Van Deursen finished her first season at ASU with 17 games played, including 15 starts. 
  • Scored a pair of goals, while adding a pair of assists on the season. 
  • First collegiate goal came in ASU's 4-0 win over SEMO on Sept. 2.
  • Carded her first assist on the road at No. 15 UCLA on Oct. 4. 
  • Will look to continue to factor into the Sun Devil offense in 2019, providing movement through the midfield position.  
PRIOR TO ASU
  • An international midfielder, Eva is a member on the Netherland's U19 National Team, and was a vital player in their 2018 win over the United States.
