- A six-foot guard and native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Sousa signed with ASU in June 2021 after playing two years at Chipola College in Marianna, Fla.
- Was twice named an NJCCA All-American – third team in 2020 and second team in 2021. In 2021, earned FCSAA/NJCAA VIII All-State, All-Panhandle Conference first-team and FCSAA/NJCAA VIII All-Tournament Team honors in helping lead Chipola to its seventh FCSAA Championship and an appearance in the NJCAA Tournament semifinals.
- Due to injuries, was limited to 50 games (24 starts) in her three seasons at ASU. Worked hard to come back from injury each of her three seasons and was an effective performer when on the floor.
- Played in 20 games (17 starts).
- Among players with less than 100 FG attempts, led the team in FG pct. (49.4) and 3-point FG pct. (45.9/17-37).
- Nearly had double-double (9 points, 8 rebounds) in regular season finale vs. USC (Mar. 2).
- Came up big in ASU’s 2OT win over UW (Feb. 16), scoring 14 of her career-high 16 points in the 2nd half (6 points) and OT (8 points).
- Scored all 12 points of her points via the long ball (4-4 3FGs) in ASU’s win over Cal (Jan. 28).
- Scored 10 points and had 3 steals vs. No. 5 Colorado (Jan. 7).
- Missed first 10 games due to injury before playing vs. Arizona (Dec. 17). Did not play vs. Fresno State (Dec. 20) but started ASU’s game vs. Santa Clara (Dec. 30) and scored 7 points and had 3 rebounds in 19 minutes.
- Made her first start for Arizona State at California.
- Grabbed career-high 12 rebounds against American.
- Scored a career high-tying 7 points in consecutive games (at Stanford/Dec. 31 and at Cal/Jan 2).
- Contributed 5.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg while averaging 20 minutes per game vs. WSU (Jan. 27) and UW (Jan. 29).
- Had the second highest field goal percentage on the team, shooting 44.8%.
- Was limited to seven games due to injury in her first season with ASU.
- Accounted for season highs of seven points and four rebounds in win over UTSA (Dec. 4).
- Sousa started all 25 games for Chipola and averaged 13.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
- Scored in double figures 19 times, including a 30-point performance in Chipola's 90-80 win over Gulf Coast State College.
- Shot 39 percent from beyond the arc and knocked down three or more triples seven times last season.
- Was named the FCSAA Region 8 player of the week (Mar. 1) after averaging 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.0 steals in wins over Tallahassee and previously unbeaten Northwest Florida State.
- Started all 28 games and averaged 15.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game on her way to All-Panhandle Conference first-team recognition.
- Was named the FCSAA Region 8 player of the week (Mar. 1) after leading Chipola to a trio of road wins while chipping in 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
- Competed for Brazil at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championships and the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship. In 2015, Brazil made it to the gold medal game.
