• Played in 118 games (34 starts).
• Earned Pac-12 All-Defense honorable mention honors as a senior after leading the team and finishing 13th in the Pac-12 in steals per game (1.5 spg). Was also third in assists (2.4 apg) and fourth in rebounds (4.2 rpg).
• Tied for the team lead in steals (1.1 spg) in 2017-18 and was second in assists (3.1 apg/15th in the Pac-12) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.8/2nd in Pac-12/ninth in the nation).
• Started the first seven games as ASU’s point guard in 2016-17 before a quad injury at the start of December forced her to miss six straight games. Would go on to finish her freshman campaign No. 7 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, tied for third on the team in assists per game (1.8) and fifth in steals (0.9 spg).
• Earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention recognition in 2018 and 2019 and was named to the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll as senior.
 
2019-20
• Played in 25 games (21 starts) and earned Pac-12 All-Defense honorable mention honors after leading the team and finishing 13th in the Pac-12 in steals per game (1.5 spg). Was also third in assists (2.4 apg) and fourth in rebounds (4.2 rpg). Was also named to the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll.
• Was perfect from the floor (4-4 FGs) and had three steals and three assists in season opening win over Air Force (Nov. 5).
• Missed games vs. Cal Poly (Nov. 24)/vs. Middle Tennessee (Dec. 1) due to illness & vs. Oregon (Jan. 10), at Oregon State (Feb. 7), vs. Oregon (Jan. 9), vs. Cal (Mar. 5) due to injury. 
• Scored 10 points and tied (then) career high with seven rebounds vs. Purdue (Nov. 30).
• Came through with career-high 14 points and had three steals in OT win vs. Idaho State (Dec. 8).
• Pulled down a career-high eight rebounds and dished out a season-best five assists in win over New Mexico (Dec. 14).
• Scored six points and tied career high with eight rebounds vs. Creighton (Dec. 20).
• Scored nine points to go with six rebounds and six assists at UCLA (Jan. 3).
• Scored 10 points (4-5 FGs) and pulled down seven rebounds in triple OT win vs. USC (Jan. 31).
• Was perfect from the floor (4-4 FGs) and scored nine points vs. Washington (Feb. 16).

2018-19
• Played in all but one game (at WSU on Feb. 7) and finished 2nd on the team in assists (2.2 apg) and 5th in FG pct. (45.7).
• Earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors for the second straight year.
• Shot 73 percent (11-15) and had 21 assists and only 7 turnovers during ASU’s 7-game winning streak to conclude non-conference play. 
• Grabbed season-high 4 rebounds 3x.
• Played 7 minutes in ASU’s season opening win over Incarnate Word (Nov. 6).
• Had season-high 3 steals in win over Southern (Dec. 7).
• Tied season high with 5 assists and grabbed season high with 4 rebounds vs. Fresno State (Dec. 20).
• Scored season-high 9 points in win at Colorado (Jan. 6).
• Scored 8 points (3-4 FGs, 2-2 FTs) at Cal (Feb. 24).
• Scored 7 points to go with 3 assists and 2 rebounds vs. Colorado (Mar. 7).

2017-18
• Played in all but one game (4 starts) and tied for the team lead in steals (1.1 spg) and was 2nd in assists (3.1 apg/15th in the Pac-12) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.8/2nd in Pac-12/9th in the nation).
• Earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention recognition.
• Connected on 56.8 percent (21-37) of her shots in her last 10 games (more than 14 percentage points above season percentage/42.3).
• Had zero (14x) or one turnover (9x) 23x.
• In ASU's five postseason games Russell made 61 percent of her shots and had 19 assists to go with only 6 turnovers.
• Led team with 7 assists in season opening win over UTSA (Nov. 12).
• Scored 9 points & tied (then) career-high with 4 steals in win over Sacramento St. (Nov. 18).
• Grabbed 5 rebounds to go with 5 points and 5 assists at Florida State (Dec. 10).
• Produced second straight 5-point, 5-rebound effort to go with 4 assists (0 turnovers) vs. Idaho (Dec. 18).
• Scored 9 points to go with 6 assists (zero TOs) and 4 rebounds vs. Arkansas (Dec. 21).
• Had a career-high 5 steals to go with 7 points and 3 assists in win over Stanford (Jan. 7).
• Played only 4 minutes at UCLA (Feb. 11) due to ankle injury that forced her to leave the game. Would go on to miss following game vs. Arizona (Feb. 16).
• Had outstanding performance in ASU's Pac-12 Tourney first round win over Arizona (Mar. 1) as she matched her then-career-high in scoring (9 points) to go with a career-high 9 assists and 0 turnovers.
• Led ASU with career-high 12 points (3-5 FGs/5-5 FTs) to go with 3 assists in Pac-12 Tournament semifinal vs. Stanford (Mar. 3).
• Grabbed a season-high 6 rebounds in NCAA first round win over Nebraska (Mar. 17).
• Scored 9 points and had 5 assists in NCAA Tournament second round loss to Texas (Mar. 19).

2016-17
• Played in 27 games (nine starts) and finished tied for third on the team in assists per game (1.8) and fifth in steals (0.9 spg).
• Started ASU’s first seven games at point guard before suffering an injury in the week leading up to ASU’s game at Kentucky (Dec. 11). Would go on to miss six games and returned to action at Utah (Jan. 6).
• Was second on the team in steals during the second half of the season (1.1 spg)
• Over the last eight games of the season dished out 25 assists (second on the team during that stretch) with only seven turnovers.
• Scored career-high eight points to go with three assists vs. San Jose State (Nov. 13).
• Scored six points (3-4 FGs) vs. Washington (Jan. 15) and again at Stanford (Jan. 22).
• Tied career high in scoring (eight points) to go with a career-high four steals at USC (Jan. 29).
• Tied career-high in scoring (eight points) and grabbed two rebounds in win at WSU (Feb. 10).
• Scored six points, had four assists and one steal vs. USC (Feb. 24).
• Scored seven points, grabbed career-high seven rebounds and had four assists in Pac-12 Tournament first round game vs. Utah (Mar. 2).
• Dished out career-high six assists to go with five points in NCAA Tournament first round win vs. Michigan State (Mar. 17).

HIGH SCHOOL
• A 2016 graduate of Osseo High School, Russell was named a Ms. Minnesota Basketball finalist, a Gatorade Player of the year finalist and was named to the Star Tribune First Team.
• Was named to the AP’s All-State Second Team as a senior and was selected to play in the Minnesota Girls Basketball All-Star Game. 
• Was also a McDonald's All-American nominee as a senior in addition to earning American Family Insurance ALL-USA Minnesota Girls Basketball First-Team recognition and All-Conference and All-Metro team honors. 
• Led the Northwest Suburban Conference in scoring both her junior and senior seasons and was also paced the conference in steals as a senior.
• Averaged 22.3 points, four steals and four rebounds as a senior in helping lead her squad to a 20-8 record and a spot in the Class 4A, Section 5 semifinals.
• Dropped in more than 30 points five times, including a career-high-tying 33 points.
• During Osseo’s 11-game winning streak, averaged 24.0 points and also had a single-game, career-high 10 steals during the streak.
• Earned 2015 Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association Class 4A All-State honors after a spectacular junior campaign in which she averaged 23.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.8 steals. Russell, who scored 20 or more points 15 times and 30 or more points four times, was also tabbed AP Third-Team All-State in 2015.
• Was an important contributor in Osseo’s 2014 season in which the Orioles advanced to the Section 5 semifinals. Russell was named to the All Northwest Suburban Conference Team after recording per-game averages of 12.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.7 assists.
• Earned All-Conference honorable mention honors as a freshman while playing for Kennedy High School in Bloomington, Minnesota.
