Earned McDonald's All-America honors following an outstanding career at Monarch High School in Louisville (pronounced Lewis-ville), Colo.
As a junior, Normen averaged 13.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game as she helped lead her squad to a 22-5 record and an appearance in the state semifinals.
Normen had her senior season cut short by a knee injury after 17 games.
At the time of her injury, Normen was leading her fourth-ranked team with 14.9 points per game to go along with 3.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.0 steals.
2011-12
Took a medical redshirt after suffering a quad injury in the closing moments of ASU's season opener against UC Riverside (Nov. 11).
Prior to ASU
A six-foot guard who was named a 2011 WBCA High School All-American, Normen averaged 12.0 points per game, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 3.0 assists per game while shooting above 45% from the field in 2010. Normen collected several honors in 2010 including being named First-Team All Front Range League and All-Boulder County. She was named the G2 `Player of the week' after averaging 17.0 points 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals during the first week of January. Her Monarch High School team finished No. 5 in the state with a record 22-5 overall record, including an unblemished 11-0 league record.
