Head coach Jason Watson announced on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, that Erica Crismon will join the coaching staff as an assistant coach.
A former collegiate and professional volleyball player, Crismon played for coach Watson at BYU from 2003-07, serving as both outside hitter and opposite during her four seasons.
At BYU, Crismon was a member of the Mountain West All-Conference team in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007, and went on to play four season of professional volleyball in Puerto Rico in 2008 and 2010 for Vaqueras of Bayamon and the Valencianas of Junco, respectively, for VCW in Germany in 2009, and for Pallokarhut in Finland in 2010.
Also a 2011 volunteer assistant for Watson at Arizona State, Crismon was most recently the head coach at Queen Creek High School in Arizona for both the boys and girls teams. Crismon was responsible for the start of the boys program at QCHS, and led her teams to the second round of the state tournament in each year she coached there.
Crismon also coached 10 years of club volleyball in both Utah and Arizona, and has coached in high school camps and coaching clinics for Gold Medal Squared since 2006.
