- Went on a tear late in the Pac-12 season during a four-game stretch recording double-doubles in four straight matches and aiding her team’s 3-1 record; the junior recorded 180 assists and 47 digs during that time.
- The standout game for the setter came when the Sun Devils upset Pac-12 foe Oregon, the junior stepped in and recorded a double-double (54 assists, 11 digs) to go along with two service aces.
- Earned Second-Team All-Academic honors.
2012 (Sophomore):
- Played in 13 matches during the year as a back-up setter and serving specialist.
- Recorded a match high 29 assists against No. 7 Stanford.
- Helped the Sun Devils clinch wins at No. 4 Oregon with two service aces, Colorado and Arizona on senior night.
- Finished the season with 56 assists, nine service aces and 15 digs.
2011 (Freshman):
- Began starting halfway through season and proved to be leading setter for the ASU squad.
- Recorded 689 assists on the year, highest on the team.
- Finished fifth overall in the Pac-12 for assists per set with a 10.77 average.
- Recorded 12 service aces for the Devils, tied for fourth-best overall.
- Season-high assists came versus Utah on Nov. 12, where she recorded 56 assists over five sets.
High School:
- A 2011 graduate of Punahou High School in Honolulu, Hawaii.
- Four-time letter winner for the Buff n' Blue.
- Was a two-time league champion and three-time state champion runner-up.
- Awarded Most Inspirational Player and Punahou Scholar Athlete award.
- Team captain on both high school and club teams. Member of Asics Rainbows, leading them to the 14 & under National Championship in Junior Olympics.
- Played soccer in the off-season and is on the Leahi Soccer Club.

An educational studies major and family human development minor, her full name is Shannan Jean Pomaikai McCready. Parents are John and Lorrie McCready of Aiea, Hawaii. She has three older brothers: Tyler, Spencer, and Parker. Born Feb. 9, 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
