
ASU: Incredibly athletic outside hitter who is an in-state product of Glendale, Ariz...has had an amazing career where she's led the team in kills for three straight years... was also only the second freshman in program history to lead a team in kills in 2007...set an ASU rally scoring record with her 28 kills against Oregon (9/27/07), besting former record-holder Juliana Escobar's 27 against Oregon on 10/18/02... she bested the record again in 2008 with a 30 kill match again W. Kentucky on Sept. 20...received an All Pac-10 Honorable Mention in 2008 and 2009 as well as being named to the All Pac-10 Freshman Team in 2007... is currently seventh in ASU career records in kills with 1,308.
2009 (Junior): Played more sets than anyone else on the roster with 106 of ASU's 109 sets played... led the team in kills for the third straight year with 459, which places her ninth all-time in ASU single-season records... her current 1,308 career kills places her second among active Pac-10 outside hitters and seventh in ASU career history... was awarded an Honorable Mention on both the All Pac-10 team and the Pac-10 All-Academic Team.
2008 (Sophomore): Started in all 31 of ASU's matches... led the team in kills for the second consecutive year with 431 (4.14 per game)... her 4.14 kills per set ranked her fourth in conference...her career total of 849 kills puts her only 228 kills away from already cracking ASU's career top 10...re-set her own ASU single-match record of kills posting 30 on Western Kentucky on Sept. 19, besting her 28 against Oregon the year before...also had 26 kills against Cal and Michigan last year and 25 against Stanford...collected 330 digs on the season, placing her second behind only the liber o...also posted five of her seven-best single-match dig totals in her career in 2008, with 18 her highest on the season against Western Kentucky where she also set the ASU single-match kills record...was named to all four All-Tournament teams in 2008...also garnered a All Pac-10 Team Honorable Mention as well as a Pac-10 All-Academic Team Honorable Mention.
2007 (Freshman): Saw action in 29 of ASU's 31 matches, starting 27of them...led the team in kills as a freshman with 418 (4.14 per game), only the second time a Sun Devil freshman has led the team in kills in program history, last to do so was Christine Garner in the 1992 season...her 4.14 per game average placed her sixth in the Pac-10 by season's end...she collected a 4.62 points per game average, good for ninth overall in the conference as well...also amassed 19 service aces, good for fourth on the team...had 250 digs on the year (2.48 per game), placing her third on the team...had 48 total blocks, 11 of them solo...set an ASU rally scoring record against Oregon (9/27) with 28 kills, besting Juliana Escobar's record of 27 against Oregon in 2002...was named to the Pac-10 All Freshman Team as well as received an Honorable Mention on the All Pac-10 Team.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Ironwood High School in Peoria, Ariz... earned three varsity letters, captaining the squad in 2006... also earned four varsity letters in track & field, of which she was MVP of the team from 2004-2006... named MVP of the volleyball team in 2005 & 2006...holds the Ironwood career kills record and single-match kills record, as well as several track & field records...also played club ball for the Zia Athletic Club...lists beating Xavier in the state tournament in 2004 as her most exciting moment in sports.
