2008 (Freshman): Saw improvement in her overall game throughout the season, earning her playing time in 10 matches by the end of the year...collected 33 kills as well as 23 digs on the year...strengthened her serve to collect six service aces in the season.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Newton High School in Newton, Kan...earned four varsity letters in volleyball and two in basketball under Coach Kessler...competed as well for the Invasion Swat Club Team...captained the Newton Railers her freshman through senior years...awards include being named to the 2008 USA Junior Olympic Open All-Tournament Team, All-State her Freshman - Senior year, State MVP Junior and Senior year, All American - Fab 50, All-Metro Sophomore-Senior, AVCTL All-League and AVCTL MVP Freshman - Senior year...lists making it to the last day at Nationals in Open and winning Minnesota Northern Lights in Open as her most exciting sports moment.
Personal: An early childhood education major...full name is Camri Ann Zwiesler...parents are John Zwiesler (self-employed) and Marcia Mathews (home maker)...is the oldest of six with two younger sisters, Taylor (16) and Gabbie (6) and three younger brothers; Gage (5), Connor (4) and Cooper (2)...comes from an athletic family; cousin Andre played football at OU and in the NFL for five years, cousin Jaime, Aunt and mother all played college softball...also enjoys reading, watching baseball and singing (poorly)...born May 10, 1990 in Topeka, Kan.
