ASU: Has been an impact player her first three seasons to help lead the Sun Devil offense...battled through injury in her junior season...led Xavier to the 5A State Title as a senior...earned high school All-American honors as a senior.
2008 (Junior): Played in 15 matches after struggling with an injury through most of the season...compiled 120 kills in her playing time, still good for fourth on the team...also collected 56 total blocks, five of them solo... collected 11 total blocks on Sept. 6 against UC Irvine to set a career and ASU match record.
2007 (Sophomore): Played in 22 matches, starting 10 of them playing in 76 games...compiled 193 kills on the season, tying her for fourth on the team...also tallied 57 total blocks, 12 of them solo, good for third on the team...had a career-high 26 kills against Utah Valley (9/8) and also put up 16 kills against San Jose State (9/7)...also claimed a career-high in blocks with seven total blocks, four solo against Iowa State (9/1)...her 26 kills against Utah Valley (9/8) places her third all-time in ASU rally scoring records.
2006 (Freshman): Saw action in 22 matches, starting three of them...compiled 66 kills and 15 total blocks...had a career-high 15 kills against Stanford (10/27), also put up 12 kills @ USC (11/12)...had a career-high three blocks in the NCAA Tournament versus the College of Charleston (11/30).
High School: A 2005 graduate of Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, Ariz....earned four varsity letters and was team captain during her senior season...filled her trophy case her senior year, earning High School All-American honors, a spot on the Fab 50 list from Volleyball Magazine, Most Outstanding Senior Athlete at Xavier award, Phoenix Women's Sports Association's Female Athlete of the Year Award, All-Phoenix Team and All-Northwest Valley Team honors...was named to the All-Arizona Team as a junior and a senior...three times was named All-Region (2003, 2004, 2005)...had a .560 hitting percentage as a senior...was also the only player to start every match in her four years there.
Personal: Majoring in Marketing...full name is Paige Christine Mittelstaedt...parents are Jan and DeeDee Mittelstaedt of Phoenix, Ariz....has a brother named Brett...was teammates with her cousin Rachel in 2006 & 2007...earned the US Army Reserves Scholar Athlete Award in high school...enjoys sewing...born June 6, 1988 in Phoenix, Ariz.

The best part about this year's ASU Volleyball team will be the girls. We have been working so hard for this season.
