
2008 (Freshman): Played in 26 matches, starting in six of them...collected 160 digs on the season for a 1.90 per set average...had 11 service aces on the season and 12 assists.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Basha High School in Chandler, Ariz...earned four varsity volleyball letters under coach Jim Kann...captained the Basha Bears in her 2007 for her senior season...in addition to competing for her high school, Kelty also competed for the East Valley Juniors and Club Red team...some of her accolades include being named Second-Team All-Region in 2005, 2006 and 2007, MVP in 2005 and 2007 as well as claiming second place in the Junior Beach Nationals in 2005...over her career at Basha she compliled an outstanding 1,460 career digs for a dig per game average of 5.4...lists being a part of the final match at the Junior Beach Nationals in 2005 as her most exciting sports moment.
Personal: A kinesiology major... full name is Ashley Marie Kelty ... parents are Kevin (school administrator) and Lisa Kelty of Chandler, Ariz...has a younger brother Jacob (15)... also enjoys sand volleyball and hanging out with friends...born November 7, 1989 in Mesa, Ariz.
