2017-18 (Freshman):
- Finished sixth in her first collegiate triathlon at the Central Regional Qualifier in Naperville, Ill. (Sept. 4)
- Finished fourth at the West Regional Qualifier in Berkeley, Calif. (Sept. 30)
- West Region Division I All-Region Freshman and Division I All-Region Team
- Finished 12th at the USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships (Nov. 5)
Previous: Born in Scottsdale, Grace Obando returns to the East Valley to continue her education. Obando finished third at the 2016 USA Triathlon Junior Elite race in Richmond, Va. and second at the 2015 USA Triathlon Junior Elite race in Pleasant Prairie, Wisc. In 2015, she was also the third finishing American at the PATCO Championships in Monterrey, Mexico. She received All-American consideration from USA Triathlon from 2013-15 and is a 2015-16 Dean's List member at South Lakes High School.
