Tanner Spoden joined the Sports Medicine staff in 2019. He currently serves as the athletic trainer for the softball program.
A native of Crystal Lake, IL, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University in 2019. He then went on to earn his Master of Education in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from Arizona State University in 2021, while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
He is a certified and licensed athletic trainer in Arizona. He also holds a certification in Graston Technique. Tanner is a professional member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
In his free time, Tanner enjoys golfing, camping, and hiking with his dog, Chance.
