Freshman (2016):
- Pac-12 All-Freshman Team
- Had second-highest fielding percentage among all Pac-12 third baseman with a .974.
- Only Pac-12 third baseman to not have a defensive error in league games.
- Her 12-game hitting streak from earlier this year is the longest for the team all season.
- Delivered game-winning hit against LIU Brooklyn to advance to the Regional Finals
- Leads the team with a .367 average and has a .431 on-base percentage this season.
- Is among the team leaders when it comes to advancing runners with a .630 clip, moving runners 34 times on 54 chances.
- Has hit well with bases empty, recording 26 hits on 71 at bats (.366).
- Leads team in mutli-hit games with 14 so far.
- Was 8-for-15 at the Louisville Slugger Invite (.533) with a .632 OBP, scoring four runs and logging two RBI and four walks.
- Had a hit in all six games at the Judi Garman Classic, finishing 8-for-18 (.444) with two RBI and a double.
- Was very impressive on opening weekend, posting the second highest average on the team at .533 over seven games. Her eight hits were tied for third on the team along with her five runs scored. Easily paced the squad with a .650 on-base percentage after batting 8-for-15 with four walks and a HBP.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Becerra is a shortstop out of La Serna High School in Whittier, Calif., where she played for Ginger Larsin and Mike Reed.
- Yet another capable hitter, Becerra had a .441 career batting average with 137 hits in 311 at bats with 53 RBI, 17 doubles and 10 triples.
- Had a .413 average as a senior with 39 runs scored, 19 RBI and three triples and a solid .967 fielding percentage at shortstop and was arguably the best fielding shortstop in her region.
- Helped lead her team to the CIF-SS Division 3 Softball Championship and was named to the Whittier Daily News All-Area team as a result.
- As a junior, Becerra hit .451 with 24 RBI and six doubles with a .513 on-base percentage and a .735 slugging percentage. She also carried a solid .932 fielding percentage from the shortstop position with 37 putouts, 86 assists and nine errors.
- Becerra earned First Team All-League and All-Area honors a junior and was also named to the All-CIF team after leading La Serna to an appearance in the CIF Southern Section Division 3 Championship where the team lost a tough 2-1 decision to St. Paul.
- Becerra played her club ball with Firecrackers-Blanco under head coach Jeff Blanco and helped her team to the 16U Colorado Fireworks Championships and a third place finish at the PGF Nationals.
PERSONAL
She chose ASU in order to be a part of an extremely competitive softball program and enjoys the environment that the coaching staff has provided for the team. Becerra is the daughter of Michael and Sandra Becerra and has two siblings, Nicole and Madison. When Becerra has free time, she enjoys doing bat tricks and "do it yourself" projects.
