Bailey Oetting, the daughter of Ryan and Jennifer Oetting, is the oldest of four children. She has two brothers, Owen and Rhett, and one younger sister Lucy. Oetting enrolled at ASU with interests in math and engineering, and actually chose ASU because of it's nationally acclaimed engineering program. In her free time, Bailey enjoys playing video games and cooking. She hopes to one day own her own business.
- Saw time in 11 games in her first season as a Sun Devil, mostly as a late-inning defensive replacement for starting catcher Sashel Palacios
- Redshirt season following transfer form Muscatine CC.
Prior to ASU:
- Oetting played her first two collegiate seasons as the starting catcher for Muscatine Community College in eastern Iowa.
- She played a larger role in an MCC offense that hit .419 as a group and slugged 37 home runs during the 2015 season, before the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges announced its plans to cut MCC’s softball and baseball programs following the 2016 season.
