Kristen Brown (Miller) joined the staff as volunteer coach in the fall of 2014 and enters her first season as a full-time assistant in 2015-16.
After three years playing for Head Coach Clint Myers and Assistant Coach Robert Wagner, Miller ended her collegiate career as the 2008 National Championship catcher for ASU.
After winning the title, Miller went on to play professionally for the Philadelphia Force with former Arizona State pitcher Katie Burkhart.
After hanging up her cleats as a player, Miller then pursued coaching. Her coaching career started at Central Arizona Community College under the direction of head coach Sandra Wente. Miller was invited by Robert Wagner to join his coaching staff at Scottsdale Community College in 2012.
Miller earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as she has a passion for teaching. Her love for teaching and softball translate nicely in her current role as the assistant hitting and catching coach for the Devils.
