Katie Schroeder, a two-time All-American and 2012 graduate of UCLA, has joined the ASU softball coaching staff as the Volunteer Assistant Coach.
As a player, Schroeder was a four-year starting center fielder for the Bruins and a part of their 2010 National Championship team.
Schroeder was drafted sixth overall by the Chicago Bandits in the 2012 National Pro Fastpitch draft, but opted not to play, instead spending the summer working in strength and conditioning for Athletes' Performance.
This is her second year coaching, as she was an Assistant Coach for Loyola Marymount University in 2013.
